Here's what people are saying about Jeff Fuller:
“Jeff Fuller and his trio are absolutely “happenin’ ” on his newest recording, “Happenstance”. Each composition and arrangement is beautifully executed by the trio, with sophistication and modernism. Fuller’s bass lines, as always, are brilliantly crafted as well as his masterful soloing. Indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed this record! “ ~ Christian Sands, pianist, composer, Christian McBride.
“A wonderful new release with 4 remarkable musicians… should be part of your collection… a great compilation of original selections!” ~ Donn Trenner, pianist, conductor and arranger.

It's been a rough couple of weeks. The current health crisis has everyone on edge, and fear is paralyzing many us. To top it off, we lost one of the true giants of jazz a few days ago, the great McCoy Tyner.
McCoy partnered with John Coltrane to forever change the way people play and hear the music.
We will celebrate McCoy's legacy while we use the healing vibrations of real jazz music to put us all in a better state of mind. Please join us.
Janice is one of the most swinging pianists in NYC, and she is in great company with Floody, Hubbard, and the Jazz Rabbi himself.
Guitar master George Benson, a long-time supporter, has described Paul Bollenback’s work as ". . .bona-fide playing, unambiguous, up-front and powerful," calling him “a versatile dynamo on guitar. His approach to jazz and blues has a uniqueness unto itself . . ..”.
In 2011 Bollenback garnered a Grammy nomination for co-production on Joey DeFrancesco’s Never Can Say Goodbye (Hi Note), and also shares executive and co-producing credits with vocalist-composer Chris McNulty on her albums Dance Delicioso and her Whispers the Heart (Elefant Dreams). One of the most highly regarded jazz drummers on the scene today, Joe Farnsworth is known for his blazing speed, precision, musical, and melodic playing. Joe has been paying with Steve Davis for decades as part of the world renown jazz collective, "One for All".
"Over the course of many years within the wide parameters of my extended career as a professional musician and educator, it's been only upon special occasions that I've been prompted to use the word "extraordinary" when describing a musician and his possession of special talent. Joe Farnsworth is one of these."
Benny Golson
We welcome back two of this generation's greatest horn blowers, Andy Gravish and Joe Magnarelli, as we pay tribute to the spontaneity and majesty of a unique moment in recorded jazz history.
In April of 1965 Freddie Hubbard and Lee Morgan, two of the greatest trumpeters of their generation, played a gig at Club La Marchal in Brooklyn, which was recorded and released on two LP's on Blue Note Records as "The Night of the Cookers". It stands out as an example of the pure excitement than can only be generated from live jazz, played by artists at the peak of their musical abilities.
Andy and Joe are are the height of their powers, and this night is sure to thrill all who are fortunate enough to get in the door!
