Hailing from the jazz capital of the Midwest, Chicago, IL  trumpet player and composer Rob Henke serves as musical director of The Spirit of Life Ensemble in addition to appearances with many innovative and traditional ensembles and projects.

Rob is a true renaissance artist, with talents and interests extending far past the traditional borders of Jazz, including acting, spoken word, and other means of expression.
