A celebration of Dave Brubeck’s music featuring
virtuoso pianist Alan Bartus, winner of the 2024 2024 JEN Dave Brubeck Composer and Pianist award.
Alan Bartus is an amazing young pianist and composer who has created albums of  incredible music. His improvisational skills have enthralled New York and European audiences.  Born into a musical family in Lucenec Slovakia, he studied music in Austria. Having performed with jazz legends at a young age, Alan quickly became a rising star. Alan is currently working on his debut album, which he recorded with the legendary Gregory Hutchinson, Kornel Fekete Kovács and his father Stefan Pista Bartu

Keys Music Ensemble

This Jazz Ensemble in the Bridgeport Schools has been honing their talent and groove with some of Jazz FC's favorite artist/mentors in our JAZZREACH program.   The students receive jazz workshops free of charge thanks to the wonderful Jazz FC audiences.   You will be in for a treat when they open for Alan Bartus.
