Miki Hayama is a GRAMMY-nominated pianist, arranger and musical director, and has performed with a wide range of jazz greats and stars across genres such as Aretha Franklin, Christian McBride, Greg Osby, Tia Fuller, and Nnenna Freelon, and has earned international praise for her luminous touch and expansive harmonic sensibility.

Harvie S is a extroadinary bassist with over five decades of artistry. Since moving to New York in the early 1970s, he has collaborated with giants such as Gil Evans, Thad Jones, and Steve Kuhn, and has established a long and deeply musical partnership with vocalist Sheila Jordan. As a leader, Harvie  has recorded albums across many settings—from his Urban Earth ensemble to intimate duets with Kenny Barron. He is truly a pillar of the New York Jazz scene.

Matt Wilson, one of the most celebrated figures in contemporary jazz is an endlessly creative drummer and bandleader,  known for his  joyful spirit, deep swing, and appearances on more than 250 recordings with such greats as Dewey Redman, Paul Bley, Charlie Haden, Lee Konitz, Bob Stewart, and Cecil McBee.

Saxophonist Greg Wall, Westport’s own “Jazz Rabbi,” is the Artistic Director of JazzFC.  His virtuosic improvising and boundary-crossing projects—from Hasidic New Wave, Later Prophets, Portal, and Zion80,  to commissioned scores for the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company,  have earned him international recognition.

Together, these four master musicians create a rare, dynamic ensemble guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable night of musical interplay, spontaneity, and soul at Jazz at the Post.
